Over 500 people took part in the "Italy of Tomorrow - Labs for Italy" project on 10-12 July. May 18th 2015 - One of the first events of the new association ESAA took place: the Erasmus+ Train-the-Trainers event was organised on the premises of the European Commission, DG Education and Culture in Brussels. It was initiated by the ESAA Policy Working Group with the idea to give 15 trainees a deeper understanding of Erasmus+, the new programme for Education, Training, Youth, and Sport.

April 2015 - Professor Maurits van Rooijen is the Rector and CEO (Academic) of Global University Systems, a rapidly expanding education company that operates in the UK, Germany, Canada, Singapore and online. Professor van Rooijen is also the Rector and CEO of the London School of Business and Finance.
Professor Van Rooijen was awarded the Constance Meldrum prize for Vision and Leadership in 2013 by the European Association for International Education (EAIE).

1 July 2014 - At a special meeting held in Brussels, the garagErasmus Foundation presented the first Erasmus Generation Professional Network to companies, universities and political figures in Brussels. The pitch was the first of a series of short events that will take garagErasmus Foundation to promote the innovative idea of bringing former Erasmus students and the professional world closer. The roadshow of garagErasmus started symbolically in the capital of Europe and will touch base in several cities of the continent to raise funds and awareness for this new initiative and further widen the support of private and public companies, universities, and private foundations.

13 January 2014 - Marco Mazzini, co-founder & Deputy Chairman garagErasmus Foundation, will take part to the launch event of Erasmus+ in France, organized by the French Europe-Education-Formation Agency in Bordeaux. Among the other participants there were also: Hélène Conway-Mouret, Minister Delegate for French Nationals Abroad, attached to the French Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sandrine Doucet, MP of Gironde, Sonia Dubourg Lavroff, Deputy mayor of Bordeaux, Mrs Cocula, Vice-president of Conseil Région d’Aquitaine, Vanessa Debiais-Sainton, Head of Sector Erasmus - European Commission, François Missonier, Director of Europavox, Antoine Godbert, Director of the Agence Europe Education Formation France.

The President of the European University Institute joins the Advisory Council
14 November 2013 - Prof. Joseph H.H. Weiler, President of the European University Institute, stands for the Erasmus generation and has joined our Advisory Council.
Prof. Weiler is a prominent figure in international and constitutional law and joins the other members of the Council to support the strategic development of the Foundation.

15 October 2013 - The new Advisory Council of GaragErasmus was kicked off in Brussels on 11 October 2013. High-level personalities from different sectors joined this new body: Jan Muelfheit, Chairman of Microsoft Europe; Richard Hudson, former managing editor of The Wall Street Journal Europe and CEO of the magazine Science Business; Hywel Ceri Jones, father of the Erasmus Program; and Alf Rehn, thinker and professor of management at Abo Akademy University in Finland.

19 April 2013 - An event organized by garagErasmus with the Turkish Nation Agency with former Erasmus, entrepreneurs and universities will be held in Istanbul tomorrow.
