The International Talents Match is a garagErasmus project launched in order to facilitate the employment of young professionals with international study or work mobility experiences. In partnership with universities, the project aims to let current and former Erasmus students showcase their abilities in order to be hired.
Objectives:
The primary objective of the event is to give current and former Erasmus students from the past two years an opportunity to find their place in an international job market. garagErasmus aims to facilitate the employment of at least 10 mobile talents by matching their demand for local and international jobs with the supply from companies. Another expected outcome of the project is to expose companies to unique skills and characteristics that these young professionals have due to their international exposure. Last but not least, an added value element of the project is to strengthen the Erasmus community through promoting professional opportunities, and therefore encourage more students to participate and more companies to recognize the value of the Erasmus generation.
How does it work?
gE sets up a venue and invites companies and young talents whose applications correspond with available vacancies. Each of the selected young international talents has 10 minutes to convince the recruiter to call him/her back for a full interview.
